Mobius Emerging Markets Fund
Independent boutique investment manager, MCP Emerging Markets, appointed Cadarn Capital in 2024 to provide distribution for its Mobius Emerging Markets Fund SICAV strategy.
MCP Emerging Markets forward-looking, quality-focused approach aims to provide access to lesser-known, highly innovative companies in emerging markets. With an unconstrained investment style and an active share of over 98%. MCP Emerging Markets seeks to identify rapidly growing, quality companies with strong local brands and excellent management teams outside of the benchmarks’ universe.
Alpha should result from selective, bottom-up stock picking, concentrating on 25-30 high-conviction positions, and engaging with each company on operational, environmental, social, governance, and cultural dimensions. This approach aims for long-term, absolute returns, ideally holding investments for a minimum of 3-5 years to capture sustainable growth in emerging markets.
Fund Structures
Listed funds are investment vehicles traded on regulated exchanges, offering investors daily liquidity, transparent pricing, and ease of access. They are typically subject to exchange rules and ongoing disclosure requirements, making them suitable for a broad range of investors.
UCITS funds (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) are a type of highly regulated investment fund in the European Union (EU) designed for retail investors.
Alternative investment funds provide access to assets such as private credit, infrastructure, or real assets, with limited or periodic liquidity. These funds are designed for longer-term strategies, offering diversification benefits beyond traditional listed markets.
